Governance highlights
The Board of Directors governs AHCA affairs and policies. The legacy bylaws describe a board of five to seven directors, officer roles including Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, and standing committees supporting board development, finance and audit, certification, and test development.
Exam Development Task Forces provide subject-matter expertise for AHCA examinations. The Executive Director functions as chief executive officer under the Board’s authority. The bylaws also address conflicts of interest, director terms, vacancies, meeting procedures and amendment requirements.
