Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy technicians work under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists and perform many pharmacy-related functions.
Typical responsibilities can include preparing prescribed medication, supporting medication and supply workflows, resolving insurance or program adjudication issues, processing orders and returns, and supporting routine pharmacy operations. Licensed pharmacists check medications before they are provided to patients and are responsible for patient counseling.
